Austin Pritchett

My name is Austin Pritchett.

 

For as long as I can remember, the outdoors has been a large part of my life. Growing up, on weekends we would always run down to the island to catch a weekend of wading. That was before I was introduced to fly fishing, where I would develop a passion like none other.  

 

After graduating with a petroleum engineering degree from Texas Tech and spending a few years in the oil field as an engineer, I took my skills from the oil field back to my roots, managing our family ranch where I learned how to successfully run and grow a business. I also work as a contract pilot based in Fort Worth, I split my time between the skies and the ranch, always dreaming of new adventures. With over 15 years of fishing experience in the Lower Laguna Madre, I'm excited to share our vision of a fishing lodge that combines my passions for the outdoors and hospitality.
